Chirag Dhakal Sahaj is an aspiring researcher with a background in statistics, economics and sociology. He holds a B.Sc. in Statistics and B.A. in Economics and Sociology from Tribhuvan University. His research interests span labour economics, econometrics, migration and economics of education. Chirag has interned at the Economic Research Department of Nepal Rastra Bank contributing to studies on remittance, aggregate demand and trade elasticity. His independent research has explored the impacts of the 2015 Gorkha earthquake on food security and the determinants of STEM major selection among students in Nepal, employing econometric and Bayesian methods.
